Preparedness

Although the concept of being prepared was not new to me, in 2015, the possibility of dealing with major change to life as we know it began to become more of a reality for me. It was not one event that served as a catalyst, but rather a culmination of the state of the world that changed my mindset.

Hurricanes are bad enough on their own. Unfortunately, they don’t come alone. There are several subsequent hazards that come along with them like: Storm Surges, Tornadoes, inland flooding, and more. Preparing for these hazards will make all the difference when you find yourself faced with a hurricane.
